The Girl on the Train – Paula Hawkins
I am not a big reader (I read all day at work), but this is the last book I read that still stands out to me. It was a for-fun book, not a serious book. I bought this book in the airport on my way out of town for a long weekend vacation without the kids. I started reading and I could not put it down. It was a wonderfully-written, suspenseful who-done-it. It was great for a mental getaway. I finished it before I returned home (I think even before I got on the plane).

Yoga at Work – 10 Minute Workouts for Busy People – Miriam Freedman & Janice Hankes
These 10-minute, holistic workouts enhance your mental acuity and reduce your physical tension. Physical exercise generally relieves body tension and the relaxation breathing exercises help tackle mental stress. Drawings and examples provide an easy program for ANYONE to participate even if you are tied to a desk, on the road or mobile. Regular practice will induce a sense of general well-being that ultimately produces a clear work environment. Lead by example with a calming, relaxed attitude!
