President’s Message July 2017

Georgie S. Menke, Class of 2009 President

Dear Fellow Leadership Alumni, New Board Members & New Class Members,

We have an extremely exciting and jam packed year ahead filled with great program days for our adult as well as our youth programs. The class retreat for our adult program is coming up in August on the 25th and the 26th. Our new board of directors and this year’s class are ready to rock so stay tuned for more on the retreat with more to come!

One of the other big items we will be working on this year is alumni engagement. It can be one of the most challenging aspects for our volunteer organization. We are looking at more alumni socials and then some. Please know, LP wouldn’t be the top-notch organization it is without you; so thank you!

To get this new year rolling, we had our first program day meeting last month. It was a huge hit! Some of the chairmen/women have hit the ground running with their day’s respective agenda. Would you like to join them? To get involved in a program day, please contact Ricky Butler at [email protected].

And so everyone can keep up with everything going on … know that we want you! If you have an idea for an LP-related article that you would like to write for the Leader Reader, please shoot me or alumnus, Tammy Robiconti an email or instant message. We would like to hear from everyone!!!

Now a very special thank you is in order to everyone who came to celebrate our Ruby Red anniversary. Alumnus, Karen Skiratko, and her team did a phenomenal job!

As you can see, there is a lot going on, so keep an eye out for all of the creative and new additions to our programs, and I look forward to serving as your new president.

Thank You,

Georgie S. Menke, Class of 2009
President
