Biography

VP of Operations, Advantage Group

It was a long drive south to get Georgie Menke out of New York City to Palm Harbor, FL, yet, in 1993, when her family packed up and moved to Florida, she covered those miles and vowed to make an impact in her new community.

Georgie is the dedicated mother of two high school-age children and a chocolate lab. These two children are what drives Georgie every day to be a better person and to give back to her community. Her daughter, Julia, and son, Kristopher attend Palm Harbor University High School.

Georgie attended St. Petersburg College in Clearwater and made her way to the Advantage Group in 2005, where she serves as the VP of Operations. In 2009 Georgie was selected for Leadership Pinellas and is now a proud alumnus. Since her graduation, she has been very involved in Leadership Pinellas. Georgie has served as Secretary and had the honor to serve as Program Chair for the 2014 Class as well as Chair for 2 different committees: Criminal Justice Day and the Holiday Happening. She is currently Leadership Pinellas’ President.

On the rare occasion that Georgie is away from her work or family, she is heavily involved in Clearwater Jazz Holiday.  She was appointed the Chair of Donations, in 2008 and held that position for 3 consecutive years. The event gets more and more attention, funding and accolades due to the efforts of Georgie and her fellow team members on the committee. Currently, Georgie is the Chair of Jazz Force for 2017 and 2018.

Georgie enjoys her position within the insurance industry and is continually reminded of the impact she has on client’s lives.  With her insurance/client knowledge, and expertise and experience, she can get them the funds the desperately need and help them get thru likely the roughest time in their lives.  This is one of the main reasons Georgie continues to serve the clients in the insurances field.  Georgie has a love for giving back, not just to her family, but to her community, and her clients.
