For those of you who are interested in being a part of next year's program days, our second program planning committee meeting is being held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 8:00 to 9:30 AM. It will be held at the offices of YMCA of the Suncoast, 2469 Enterprise Road, Clearwater
Class of 2011 Retreat Social 8/20/2010
Hey everybody,
The Class of 2011 retreat is fast approaching and we have some exciting changes for you. We are holding it at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and they have set aside a block of rooms just for Leadership at a reduced rate. I know that the Class of 2001 is planning to have a get-together that weekend. It might be fun to contact members of your class year and do the same. I have attached the invitation, but am including some of it in this email for your convenience.

LP Clearwater Beach Scavenger Hunt 8/20/2010
The "Clearwater Beach Scavenger Hunt" will be an adventure just for Leadership Pinellas Alumni, August 20th, 7:15 - 9:15 after Class of 2011 Social
But, this is not your usual scavenger hunt. There is no collecting of obscure or mundane objects here. In this version, you will need to follow the creative clues and solve the riddles while you explore and experience Clearwater Beach like never before. Walk the beach to favorite local hideouts, you will enjoy the nightlife, visit the hotspots, and maybe even learn a thing or two about our unique beach paradise. Earn the most points for your team and the reward is yours. Of course there will be bonus opportunities and mystery locations to discover as well so don't get left behind.
Groups of any size can join the fun, but teams must be between 2 to 6 people. The event lasts two hours ending at a final location where the winners will be announced and prizes awarded during an exciting wrap up. You can win anything from dinner gift certificates (up to $150), free drinks, or even fun Clearwater Beach souvenirs.
In addition to the hunt and the chance to win great prizes, you will also receive Scavenger Hunt map featuring 2 for 1-drink coupons and discounts that can be used at participating bars at any time during your stay on the beach. So come meet the new Leadership team, have fun, win prizes and afterward everyone is invited back to the Hilton to rejoin our incoming class to end the night with good music, dancing and conversation.
