April Board Member of the Month

Tammy Robiconti
Class of ‘16

Tammy is the Director of Marketing & PR for Largo Medical Center, a 425-bed, 3-campus hospital. During her tenure, Robiconti has rolled out several successful marketing initiatives including Orthopedic Spine and Total Joints, the Transplant Institute of Florida, Behavioral Services, Wound Care & Limb-Saving Services, Surgical Weight Loss, and the Free Standing Clearwater ER. She is the lead director for the four HCA Pinellas County hospitals. Robiconti was the first lead put in charge of collectively marketing and branding them together where appropriate. These hospitals were the first in the county and some of the first in the nation to promote ER wait time averages, assisting consumers in making the decision on which hospital to visit for their emergency care.

Tammy is involved with many local events and organizations both professionally and personally. This is her second year on the Leadership Pinellas board of directors, assisting in marketing the program internally and externally. She sat on the state board for the American Heart Association, chaired a Heart Walk with former Florida First Lady, Columba Bush, has been a Big Sister, and much more. Through her position at the hospital, she involves the staff in many sponsorship and fundraising opportunities including Clearwater Jazz Holiday, American Cancer’s Making Strides Walk, The Dysautonomia Project, Donate Life/Lifelink, American Heart Association, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and more, all to assist in helping many in our community and beyond.

Prior to spending the past 12 years in healthcare with HCA, Robiconti worked in broadcast news for 15 years. She worked at Bay News 9 reporting and anchoring and in Tallahassee for years anchoring notably during the 2000 Presidential election and the 911 attacks. Tammy is officially a Florida Gator mom thanks to her 19-year-old son, Dominic. She enjoys working out and traveling … especially cruises.
